Kombucha Tea

My latest endeavor, making kombucha tea. At first glance, the scoby looks like cow tongue floating in a mason jar. Thus making my first encounter slightly nauseating. Okay... I wanted to puke. My "kombucha mother" was gifted from one of Annies neighbors, obviously deserving of her new name, "Brave Heart." (grinning) Soon, snoozing in a bassinet, (okay a jar) kombucha babies. Herb Deb will become the recipient of my first babe... I'm hoping for twins! So after watching the video... like a gazillion times, I'm excited to buy some jars and get to work birthing. Proudly posting a picture of my newest offspring... please, lets give a big welcome to "Hiroko." (Japanese name meaning 1) "abundant child," 2) "prosperous child," or 3) "generous child.")
Annie, it will be you... whom enjoys the first sip of my home brew.
