She's still not home. Ten year old Lindsey Baum, vanished into thin air a few weeks ago from McCleary Washington. Several blocks from where we sat snacking on sandwiches, sipping wine and watching "The secret life of bees." In this tiny little town, a dark and sinister presence now resides. Terrorizing not only this small community but the entire nation. My heart aches for her and her family, as do many others. Turning on the evening news night after night, my thoughts return to her and the mystery of her disappearance. Only serving to remind us all how precious and vulnerable our children are.
